My pipes are predominantly made with Ebony, trimmed in either boxwood, synthetic ivory or moose antler mounts. The metal work is mainly brass however other options are available such as Nickel Silver or stainless steel. My concert pitch chanters are based mostly on Leo Rowsome Concert Pitch pipes both in bore characteristics and design aesthetic. The drones are a combination of my own design ideas and a classic set of A. Kennedy drones played by Francis Mc Peake III, originally made for John Lennon of the Beatles. The regulators are based on my own Regulators made by Alan Ginsberg with modifications based upon my reedmaking  and playing considerations. These reed making based observations have been developed during  many many late nights with a gouge in hand.
